Mothering Sunday 2015

The children gave flowers to all the ladies who attended both the 9.30 and 10.30 services -

while the men of the Church gave the ladies a well earned rest and took over the coffee making and washing up duties for the day. 

Commissioning our Street Pastors

We were delighted to welcome members of the Widnes Street Pastors Team
 to our Covenant Service.

During the serivce Stan and Jan Woods were commissoned to work at Street Pastors -

we are so proud of them and the amazing work they will be doing.

Christingle 2014

Rev Jenny MacGregor led a cafe style worship on Christmas Eve - 

everyone made their own Christingle -

and many sweets were consumed by excited children -

as Rev Jenny explained the significance of the different parts of the Christingle.

Nativity 2014

The children from Sunday School and Shell Group

 performed their Nativity Play as part of All Age Worship.

Harvest 2014

 

 

The church was decorated for our Harvest Festival -

 

the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts "donated breakfast" for the Widnes Foodbank

 

whilst members of the cogregations support our new Church project -

The Paperchase Trust - a charity based in Runcorn, which works in Eastern Kenya

 

 

Huge thanks to everyone who stayed after the evening service to "undecorate" the church!

Good Friday 2014

Children from the Sunday School came to take part in an interactive retelling

of the Easter Story, eat chocolate nest cakes and make banners ready for Sunday Morning.
