A thank you from Widnes Rotary Club

Shared from the Widnes Rotary Facebook page

"295 Rotary International shoeboxes have today been deposited at the International Aid Trust warehouse near Preston.

Our thanks go to the children and staff at Birchfield Nursery School, St Chad's High School, members of Farnworth Methodist Church and our own members for generously donating.

Most of the boxes contain a variety of items for children of all ages and some contain useful household items we all take for granted. They will be delivered to children and households in poorer parts of the world and may be the only gift they receive all year.

Thank you!"

Our wonderful organists

A special service to say a  huge thank you to Peter and Frank Dawber for their many years of service as our Organists. Frank has now retired from this role - but Peter is still playing for two services every Sunday. Worship wouldn't be the same without the wonderful organ music - thank you for sharing your passion with us!
